The last day of our week off was a quick stop in Dartmoor, got lost in a wood, found a deer in a fairy garden; and found a chap shrooming by Cosdon Hill triple stone row. Classic Dartmoor adventure really!

Pen Hood out on the rampage for Penryn Mock Mayor today. Cornish Oss behaviour at its finest!

Pen Hood is extremely naughty, you can find her at Montol midwinter festival in Penzance.

She’s one of the Cornish guise beasts or Oss and was out for Penryn Mock Mayor.

That’s my mate Pen Hood, she’s particularly naughty believe me I know her very well!

Literal running streams, Hell’s Lane was just thick mud!

Yes my understanding is they started out as paths connecting local villages and combined with natural erosion, the local geology and footfall over the centuries they gradually became deeper & deeper.

It’s a great spot, lots of trees with lichen hanging from the branches.

It certainly needs to be one, just needs a jump ring added to it.
