Do you really NEED your Senseo to decalcify itself? I mean, sure... Would be nice. But If it makes shit coffee I'm not gonna care that it has a decalcify function. First and foremost I want the actual primary function to be good. We can talk about 1st world problems later.
I feel like the SAE levels of autonomy are overhyped. I mean... If your coffee machine breaks because it got leaky from being too calcified do you then also say "damn Senseo machine! I should sue Philips for the water damage in my kitchen!" No... You decalcify your Senseo
And yes, apparently there exists a timeline already. How this turns out in reality? No clue 🤷🏻♂️ But we knew something like this was EVENTUALLY happening.
