Just got my character creation cards for the Trophy TTRPG! Took a while, but they’re *beautiful* #ttrpg#trophyrpg@gauntletrpg.bsky.social

The inside of the box, which flips open to reveal a set of five smaller boxes of cards, labeled OCCUPATIONS, BACKGROUNDS, DRIVES, RITUALS & EQUIPMENT. The inside of the top of the box is a list of instructions for using the decks of cards to create a character. Creating a Character 1. Draw one card each from the Occupations, Backgrounds, and Drives decks. 2. Draw three cards from the Rituals deck. Discard 1, 2, or all 3. Mark 1 Ruin for each card kept. 3. If using equipment in your game, draw three cards from the Equipment deck. 4. Review the questions on your cards. Think about possible answers, but keep them to yourself for now. Only share your answers during relevant scenes, when dramatically appropriate or at the prompting of the GM. If you are unhappy with any of your cards, you are encouraged to discard them and draw new cards. Know nothing about the game, but I dig the creation system. I know some players who just loathe character-building, and this looks right up their alley.
