There was an embarrassing period in my childhood after I read Dracula where I slept with a hand or arm over my throat to thwart The Vampire Menace from drinking my blood. But then, I’ve always been a weenie That said, I should reread ’Salem’s Lot (and I’ll think about watching it, too)
