We had a functioning council house system in the uk acting as a brake on private prices. The tories privatised them in the 80s, & that was the start of the insane price rises we see now. Stop. Think. Question. Understand. We are told this won't work because it suits our masters for us to think it.
But absolutely loving the "private business prevents corruption" take.
