The things we do for fic research. (Recreating various possible forms of a hokijiri, the Tokugawa Shogunate “punishment cane” used in interrogation and torture. Only found one kinkster who recreated it and they seem inactive now. Had to use Google translate on Japanese sites from ~1998 for info.)
