Oh, definitely! It doesn't help that most people pick dogs bc "they look cool" and not bc of their characteristics... I used to be guilty of that, I always wanted a husky bc of how pretty they are. Then I learned about all the challenges this breed comes with... welp, I don't want one anymore 😂

I am also guilty of wanting a husky because they look cool. I'm a cat person and not a dog person though so it stayed a fantasy. I know dogs are too much work for me!

My step father also insisted to get an Irish Setter bc he loved how the breed looks... so we got one from the shelter (at least, not a breeder) and hands down, his hunting instinct was unmanageable, technically we should have never let him off leash bc the second he finds a trail he's GONE
