I still use the same arrangement for the first 7 German channels.

4,5, and 12. NBC, CBS, and ABC. Oh yeah, and PBS on channel 9!

2 KNXT (now KCBS) 3 Unused but later used for my RF modulator on my Commodore 64 and 128 4 KNBC 5 KTLA (independent) 7 KABC 9 KHJ (independent, now KCAL) 11 KTTV (independent, now Fox) 13 KCOP (independent, showed Star Trek reruns) 28 KCET (PBS) And two UHF Spanish-language channels.

Syracuse here 3 - WSTM NBC 5 - WTVH CBS 9 - WIXT ABC 24 - WCNY PBS 68 - WSYT Fox

3: CTV 4: blank (used for video games or the VCR) 5: CBC 9: Access (the education station, basically a low budget Canadian PBS) 11: French CBC 13: ITV (later Global) 51: A-Channel (Later became CityTV)

OTA. VHF: 4 - WTMJ (NBC) 6 - WITI (ABC) 10 - WMVT (PBS) 12 - WISN (CBS) UHF: 18 - WVTV (Independent) 36 - (PBS Alternate) That's it. Nothing else.

OTA: Ch4 local Ch6 ABC Ch8 CBS Ch13 NBC Ch20 PBS Ch40 religious Ch59 FOX

Completly uncertain if this is correct: 2- CBS LA 4- NBC LA 5- KTLA LA Independent (Godzilla movies) 7- ABC LA 11- KTTV LA Independent (Creature Feature in Sat afternoons) 12- Santa Maria Independent (ST:TOS) PBS was in there somewhere as well. (Doctor Who)

In Ireland we had 2 Irish channels (later 4) and 4 UK channels we (and everyone I knew) got for free by pointing the antenna a certain direction...
