Alas, my "bluesky" number has no particular meaning or numerology. 🤣 But apparently, I am a certified bluesky "elder"... 💾 In all honesty, I'm more than happy to be a member of @bsky.app, share my updates, and be a part of the growing various groups and discussions. 💙💙💙

A cropped portion of the "BlueSky Celebrating First 10 Million Users" image. The text says "Bluesky Elder Certified - First 10%".

Nova Scotia implements angling catch-and-kill orders for smallmouth bass in Margaree River & Lake Ainslie (Inverness Co) and LaHave River (Lunenburg Co) and chain pickerel in East River (Pictou Co). www.cbc.ca/news/canada/.... Hopefully it will help to protect the ecosystems in those watersheds!

Fantastic! I see lots of familiar names from the old place! Thank you 😊. Add me to the list? (I'm quiet now due to dense schedule but plan to be active online again in the winter. )

Dazzling dahlia filled with drops of the overnight rain. #photography

Circles of red petals move inward from the edge. In the centre the wrapping of the petals creates pools of water that reflect the sky. In the very centre fresh growth in green stands out against the stark red.

The wildfires in AB/BC continue to create devastation in both provinces. While some rain and cooler conditions have helped a number of the fires are likely to persist for some time. Smoke is everywhere and obscuring the truly beautiful and amazing landscape.

View from the ridge at the west of the bowl near Mistaya Lodge. LMC sits in a rubble field, in the distance is a valley and ridge of mountains. Clouds fill the sky.
Sunset looking west from the Mistaya Lodge helipad. A ridge of mountains stretches from left to right and are silhouetted by the Sun that has set behind them. Clouds rise up in the gold of the sky.
A ground squirrel is on its back legs and alert for danger. It's eyes scan to the right of the image.
Smoke fills the Alberta foothills. A series of layers is visible stretching to the horizon. Each one is progressively more obscurred than the previous. Smoke seems to cling to the valleys in between.

The pressure on the Financial Services staff must be enormous, what with all those forms and attachments....
