Nelson Mandela's prison cell on Robben Island, South Africa [2022] #SundayPix#SundayPixBar

The photo is taken through the locked cell door made of vertical and horizontal metal bars through which the whole of the small cell is visible. The walls are painted pale green two thirds of the way up and then white. A small table against the far wall is the only furniture, with a small metal bowl on top. A large barred window above the table lights the cell as it is daytime, an old tube fluorescent light can just be seen on the ceiling.
