this is The Thing i have to work on believing that reaching out & keeping in touch was me being "a bother" was the primary form that repressing transition took for me... and it stole a lot from my life. transition doesn't just fix it, either; it's something i have to actively change in myself

See I am pretty good at seeing myself as a net positive broadly, but I am still hyper aware of each individual imposition which feels like a harder if sillier knot to untangle. So easy to fixate on the ways you burden others more than the ways you lighten them. Sometimes you need to step back & see
