Just about to make the same mistake with tax cuts and inflation. Does he get excited and suffer premature administration?

This summary might be helpful. The hopeful bit is smart people seem to be looking in the right areas, finding clear evidence of some of what is going wrong, and proposing trials to treat it.

Very sorry Susan. But it is hard to blame them when you see the likes of today’s BBC article making out covid is just a cold - the messaging that it is nothing to worry about is constant. It doesn’t make it any easier but it’s not all their fault either and so we have to keep a space for them too.

These are some of the published articles from the same person from April til August of this year. This level of obtuseness is remarkable.

Screenshot of a google news search with articles listed and stock photo thumbnails on the right hand side.

The headlines read:

April 4th 2023 “NHS to expand use of private sector to tackle waits”

July 24th 2023 “Surge in ill health will have major impact on NHS”

June 28th 2023 “NHS staff sickness hits record highs in England”

June 27th 2023 “UK’s high rate of avoidable deaths linked to NHS woes”

June 10th 2023 “Covid Inquiry: The questions we really want answers to”

May 25th 2023 “Five hospitals at risk of collapse to be rebuilt”

May 24th 2023 “People paying for operations up a third since Covid Pandemic”

This article is a joke. Apparently they used "experimental stats" to show flu killed more than covid. Utter minimizing rubbish.
