And great news for Samsung or Android folks. Samsung earbuds have had similar feature since 2021. And they made another big enhancement last year (following the hearing aid ruling) that made the feature even more effective.
Every top player in the market and more will be doing this fwiw. It is a cool moment. It's even pretty early in terms of development, I look forward to maturity. Now do eyes. :)
when i use my noise canceling earbuds out in public places it is because the extant auditory stimulus is so relentless & overwhelming it can cause panic attacks. the ones i use have no playback function, but they do have a conversation setting that filters out other noise & damps sudden loud stuff.
Wait WHAT? Now I might actually have to care about Air Pods.
