Update on my bashed toe... Probably not broken after all. Just very badly smashed. The bruising is already fading and the swelling has receded overnight. Still very painful, but feels much better. Hooray!

Thanks. I had my foot resting on a cushion for most of last night. And it's very bruised & swollen today. Unfortunately I can't take painkillers (because of my dodgy liver/kidneys) so I just have to suffer! And I think my usual trying-to-get-fit walks are out for at least the next few days...

AARRGGHH! Lunchtime today: tripped & accidentally kicked an outside skirting board corner! REALLY HARD! Think I might have broken my little toe. I’ve broken toes before & this feels/looks the same. And blimey, it’s *PAINFUL* As if I don't already have enough trouble getting around...
