universities have a lot of very expensive clearing adverts up at the moment -- some of these cost upwards of £15 per click -- and so this is also the time of year when some universities have to send emails to their staff reminding them not to click on their own clearing adverts

you would not think this would be a huge problem, but university websites are so bad that every academic in this country just googles various keywords until they manage to get to the correct page to book annual leave or check their timetable

How long until we get universities setting up click farms to ruin their competitors?
