I do agree there is a lot of power in the executive but the the state level getting ranked choice would also mean less consolidated power for the two big parties. It's my opinion the parties themselves need to be ousted so they actually start listening to constituents.

I agree that ranked choice voting of the executive is preferable to FPTP, but it also doesn’t actually give people outside the two parties any real representation outside the first round of the election itself. PR + MM constituencies would allow multiple parties to be represented in the legislature.
