Maybe people are finally fed up with being slaves to the algorithm and having their art stolen by AI bots. I find the marketing aspect of art exhausting and it seems like it's only gotten more difficult in the past couple of years especially.
I've done tons of art in the last couple of years and hardly posted any of it. I don't know, it just doesn't seem to be worth the energy to me. So many reasons to not post it and not enough to do so. I personally feel really unmoored since leaving the birdsite.
I can't even begin to understand what is going through the heads of people who write stuff like this. What are they hoping to accomplish other than trying to make you feel worse about yourself? Who goes through life with a goal like that??

Oh neat they look really similar to our green june beetles in the southeast! I had to be careful to avoid them when I was one of my Japanese beetle killing sprees.

I would be open to that! I really enjoyed painting Roz's covers. Pippin is still around somehow; she's turning 18 this year! She has arthritis and cataracts but is otherwise okay. I am much more active on my Patreon account (you don't have to pay me money to see my posts - I just use it like LJ.)
