Clinton was my first election, so I voted at 19 (and was hugely disappointed by the Defense of Marriage Act). Looking at my 14yo, I think Gen Alpha is all right too. He's reading Project 2025 now and wants to discuss it.

I’ve been watching the early seasons of West Wing. The most striking thing is the Clintonian neoliberal, bipartisan is the goal POV. And the gross sexism. Remarkable to see how much has changed in 25 years, despite all the setbacks and general political turmoil.
