Clinton was my first election, so I voted at 19 (and was hugely disappointed by the Defense of Marriage Act). Looking at my 14yo, I think Gen Alpha is all right too. He's reading Project 2025 now and wants to discuss it.

Specialist appointment today. I had been hoping for repair of torn cartilage and other work to follow later. Orthopedist thinks the starting point is replacing both hips. (I don't think he's wrong. Just not what I wanted to hear.)
