Oddly, I've found Facebook worse than Twitter for precisely this reason. All these nostalgia baiting groups, maybe designed to lead people down racist rabbit holes. And lots of misogynists posting about footballers exes and the age of their spouses. If it wasn't for local forums, I would have quit.

More bubble-ish yes. But that's because it isn't trying to push anything at me. I've selected what I'm interested in, it's calmer generally. But I wonder how that will survive monetisation.
