Ah I don’t have grammar cards only example sentences and all of which include a grammar point so I can passively be reminded of them

That is a pretty efficient approach. I have a "shinobi mode" deck where I try to do that. It is usually a sentence with a key grammar point that wants explaining, 2 or 3 kanji that want reading, and a target vocab word. Sufficed to say making cards in natural Japanese for that deck is a pain.
