Yeah copying and pasting from places like Bunpro has been a nightmare for me. Today, seamless.
I tested that today. Pasted from a website into notepad, then pasted from notepad to word. Word inserted the furigana and it went into anki without issue. It was beautiful.

Though it got easier when I started ripping lines of dialogue out of TV shows and manga.
That is a pretty efficient approach. I have a "shinobi mode" deck where I try to do that. It is usually a sentence with a key grammar point that wants explaining, 2 or 3 kanji that want reading, and a target vocab word. Sufficed to say making cards in natural Japanese for that deck is a pain.
I tried RTK and bounced off it. I know it's a good system that works for a lot of people, though. My diseased brain isn't happy unless I am doing things the hard way.
