“I believe we have a moral obligation to be effective” is SUCH a smart stance. Understanding when you have the leverage to push the party leftward *and when you don’t* seems to be anathema to some leftists who read any attempt at coalition building with normie Dems as selling out.

Frankly have a hard time considering those people as acting in good faith. My instincts about people are usually pretty good, & they mostly give me "sock puppets of chaos agents trying to elect Trump vibes." I work with a lot of young people irl who want peace & they aren't this blindly hardheaded.
She is an incredibly adept politician and I mean that in the most non-pejorative way possible. She understands how and when to weild power.
