When I say no, it does actually mean no. It doesn't mean "maybe" it doesn't mean "try harder." it means no. A lot of them don't seem to get that.

Yup^ this is why we need to continue spreading the norm that it's not okay to keep trying after someone says no. No means no. That and we need to change the family to change socialization.
