Penrose alone has enough roof real estate to punch a few hundy into the grid. Add the Airport industrial park and that would easily double, just in roof space solar. I wish we could take part but we're in Western Southland and we far as I know aren't covered by SolarZero yet.
I signed up with SolarZero as a result of that article - and today I was able to supply power to the grid as well as my own house.

8kw feed back to grid today after charging my battery But Only get 15cents a kw while they charge me 40 cents at peak.
The gentailers have been positively glacial in moving towards this model, can't for the life of me put my finger on why.
