Having severe anxiety and depression does not make it easier to promote a book about anxiety and depression, it turns out. It just makes you nauseated and withdrawn. But I am so proud that it’s an Elizabeth Walden Award finalist. Will you help me spread the word?

I just want to get it into more classrooms and libraries for the kids who need to know they’re not the only people in the world with anxious brains and intrusive thoughts. Anxiety really tries to tell you you’re alone and broken. You’re not.
