HATEFUL and RACIST were being used elsewhere in the paper today
In so many ways How is this promising A bloodbath If he wins?
Caustic = hate-filled; discursive = unfocused rambling
I’d say “racist diatribe” but 🤷♀️ also 😡
David Brooks: “in calling for a bloodbath if he loses, Trump shows he knows how to rile up liberals.”
Honestly, though, discursive is an underused word and definitely describes his oral style. He wanders from topic to topic and cannot form a single coherent statement.
Insubordinate and churlish
Is that in relation to what Trump will be making Americans drink to combat immigration (like he proposed with Covid19)🤷🏼♀️
I’m picturing someone sending a note saying that the Times’ journalists aren’t humans, and to expect a bloodbath at their headquarters, and the execs not alerting security, but tsk-tsking the note for being discursive.
