Out of interest, what were your final thoughts on Samuels?
Interesting insights on the development and application of doctrine on the German side but his evidence from the British side seemed a bit selective. I also couldn’t help but think that finishing his comparison on 21 May 18 left the book looking a bit like Hamlet without the Prince.
