South Korea uses speed cameras all over the place. Not secretly, but well marked and they appear on your car’s GPS. If your cruise control is set for over the limit, the car automatically slows down for each camera, then speeds up again after. I think it’s a pretty good system.
Fwiw, I think THE CUNNING MAN is my favorite Davies. Some of the typical Davies’ shortcomings, but the good stuff really soars. Loved THE LYRE OF ORPHEUS too. In general, for someone seemingly so stodgy and uptight, he could be delightfully vulgar.
Regarding MR MCMAHON, this probably isn’t important to most people, but to me, one thing I really missed was the fandom culture, especially in the 1990s. The old wrestling websites back then were amazing — Online Onslaught, NWWWO, Slobberknocker Central, etc. Was a different age.
Having watched the entire MR MCMAHON doc on Netflix, I’m really confused about what issues McMahon had with it. Was a million miles away from being a “hit job”.
I knew I wasn’t going to be the first person to make that comment. Glad I checked.
If KAT and OG can both stay healthy, that’s an intriguing combination. OG could be a great partner, help minimize KAT’s weaknesses and maximize his strengths.
