Did someone just change the Xwitter algorithm? I’ve been getting a lot of muck for a while, but suddenly that muck is much more right-wing. Like, just an hour ago, it became noticeably worse. Hoping that this gives me the final push I need to get off that lousy social media platform…

Any theories why President Yoon would appoint a religious radical like Ahn Chang-ho to lead Korea's National Human Rights Commission? Yes, conservative Christians are a big Yoon ally, but I don't see how such a confrontational appointment helps him. english.hani.co.kr/arti/english...

A subway line extension close to where I live just opened in eastern Seoul. I really like Korea’s new subways … And so many now! So different than when I first came to Korea, back when the No. 5 line still wasn’t finished.
