One of six white throated dipper bird sightings today of at least three individuals in the Seven Arches (Balmossie) Viaduct area of the Dighty Burn in Monifieth and Broughty Ferry, Dundee. Male, 5 years old, rings red-over-white on left, blue over metal on right (RWBM). 📷📸🎞️🪶 #birds#ukwildlife

A male white throated dipper bird standing on a rock in shallow water facing towards the left while looking at the camera. The top of their head and nape is chestnut brown with a white chin and breast. Below their white breast is a chestnut coloured waistcoat; the rest of their wings and body is dark brown. They have rings on their silvery grey legs: red over white on their left leg and blue over metal on their right leg (RWBM). They are five years old.
