I will be talking at the Wiltshire Butterfly Conservation Branch meeting this Saturday, Middle Woodford village hall, on the new Red List of European butterflies. Climate change is really beginning to bite.

I have been monitoring Silver-spotted Skipper (Hesperia comma) eggs at Beacon Hill in Hampshire, southern England for the last 39 years, which may be the longest running butterfly egg count?? The turf was v tall this wet year and egg nos low. Can you spot the 2 in this pic?
