The extremely boring normie truth is that of the biggest six leaders in that war, FDR was the least horrifying
*and even with him there was internment* (looks around nervously)
And this remains true if you add de Gaulle, Chiang, and Mao
And the bellicose manic-depressive imperialist was the second least-horrifying, and by a large margin at that. And the third least-horrifying was the criminal dipshit calling himself "Il Duce". Seriously, the past is a shithole country.
honestly ALL guys (and women) are bad guys in some ways
Quick no one look up the California governor who okayed the internment camps 💔
None of them compared to the great man though 😜

and for all his flaws it’s not even close
I don't agree. He WAS horrifying. He turned away Jews who were doomed by the Nazis. Boatloads. He did nothing to facilitate the rescue of the 6 million Jews slaughtered in the Holocaust. He was, in fact, a raging antisemite who kept that close. I hate FDR.
Legitimately curious who you think the sixth biggest leader in WWII was. My list: 1. Hitler 2. Stalin 3. FDR 4. Churchill 5. Hirohito 6/7. Probably a tossup between Chiang Kai-Chek and Mussolini?
