I don't agree. He WAS horrifying. He turned away Jews who were doomed by the Nazis. Boatloads. He did nothing to facilitate the rescue of the 6 million Jews slaughtered in the Holocaust. He was, in fact, a raging antisemite who kept that close. I hate FDR.
