If there's something you know you want to be a "color hold" a line you want to be a color instead of black), save your colorist a ton of work and hassle and put it on a separate layer so they can just grab it and change the color.

I miss that period in the mid-80s when Guice and Giffen were going nuts with--were they called "surprints"?. The hologram-as-nonblack-lines thing. The printing tech wasn't quite there, but the idea was great!
