In AS further #MathsToday we derived the formula for the inverse of a matrix by dividing the workload for each element
Could you explain this a bit more please?
I shall have a go.... Started with the 2x2 matrix relationship Ax(inverse A) =I. Labelled the matrix elements a b c d and w x y z. Multiplied the matrices and equated elements to I. To form 4 simultaneous equations. Then solved each by elimination to find w x y and z. Hope that makes sense!
Not quite sure what you mean by this, could you please explain?
