Took the next major leap and poured the resin. I think I have the wrong type of resin sooooo 🤞🤞. But it's poured, and we used about 1320 ml. My original estimation was 1225 ml. I also threw in random amounts of blue and black tint, we'll see how that turns out in a week. XD
I have birthed my first boot hoof! I extracted it from the mold, test fit onto the boot and test fit the shoe on the bottom with a little sanding. I now understand the value of degassing, but that's an expensive setup. Going to test filler, sanding, paint as another option.
I'm very happy with how this pour went. No leaks at all, and well within my estimation of how much material I would need. The issue is that the resin is not a "deep pour" resin, it's only meant for shallow pours less than 4 in deep...
