Abolish and defund are a dead end--people have legitimate concerns about crime, and the answers that abolitionists muster are totally unconvincing. I wish that the left would pick up on that, and move towards aggressive reform as a near-term goal, with less funding as a far-off end state.

Aggressive reform with a focus on anti corruption. The cops are so corrupt and literally no one is in favor of that.
