I have serious doubts that expanding Penn Station will improve anything in the slightest. The tunnels situation is a shitshow that won’t be improved until they add more tunnels and I’ve had a front row seat in just how much they can’t figure out how to do that when it involves literally one tunnel.
After studying other ways to double capacity at the busy transit hub, the railroads that use it say they have concluded that it needs to be expanded.

Just now, Teen and I were waiting to pick up Kid 2 from school aftercare. While waiting for Lucy to come in from outside, Teen and I watched a bunch of kids playing with Lego. We overheard one little boy exclaim, “this is Trump‘s room!” Teen and I gave each other a look. (1/2)
