Okay can we talk about how his oldest son said the dad tried to drown him in a pool because he caught the dad molesting his sister? Abd the judge acknowledged the child had been abused, but that shouldn't matter in the current custody case??

The most common response from Christian authority figures when I confided in them about my abusive father was that I needed to forgive him and repent for hanging onto anger. I ended up writing him a letter saying I forgave him & he said "for what?" bc of course he never owned up to it. Such healing!
