Glenn Kessler is unmatched in his ability to cast Democrats' true statements as false. One think tank report says Trump's tariffs will cost US families around $4,000 each. Another says it's closer to $2,000 but probably a 2x underestimate. Somehow Glenn concludes Harris is being misleading.

This was supposed to be a rubber room assignment for him and instead of being relegated to assigning pinnochios hes made fact checking get treated as a noble pursuit and not pedantic and spiritually dishonest even if technically true at atimes
I hope Kessler reads what this guy put down.
I don't understand the complaint here? Kessler is amplifying and refining Harris's (valid) attacks. No one is reading these and concluding that Harris is a liar -- they are just learning more about the facts behind her claims, with regard to important topics. Isn't that a good public service?
Are we going to get a IBCK special episode about fact-checking?

It's naive to think he will land at a 20% tariff when he keeps mooting 100% tariffs on China and anyone who dedollarized ever. Also the math doesn't add up at 20% tariff - you need to go way up to 36% to pay for his trillion dollar a year cuts.
