Personally I think we should not let Nuzzi's bad ethics distract too much from the fact that her reporting was also bad. nymag.com/intelligence...
Her writing feels so strange to me. Like it's both flowery yet extremely basic at the same time?
Really feeling the urge to plumb the depths of the complex, conflicted soul of the sort of person who "bulldozed through a crowd of protestors outside a MAGA rally with both middle fingers raised in the air".
As a corollary, personally I think we should not let New York Magazine's bad ethics distract too much from the fact that their reporting is also bad. If Nuzzi keeps her job then my recommendation would be for Vox Media to permanently transform NY Mag into what it has long been: a shopping blog
wait she keeps a semiautomatic *rifle* in a *drawer*? that's a big drawer.
I don't have any desire to defend Nuzzi, but these excerpts don't seem to be making a strong point about her reporting. It's not even slightly implausible that a Trump volunteer in 2020 might have decided by 2024 that he was washed up and no longer viable.
Nuzzi's a dodo, but I don't see a problem here except for the fact that she was lazily re-using a source - volunteering for Trump in 2020 and hoping that somebody else is the Republican nominee in 2024 because you think Trump will lose are not inconsistent positions.
It's interesting that she's getting the treatment usually reserved for straight white male sex pests. What's the deal? She got blackmail material on powerful men? Or is she just an off the charts pick me?
Bet she's an undecided voter tooBet she's an undecided voter too
“Or whomever the Democratic Establishment decided to install” that’s from JANUARY. It’s clear she was biased.
How many times in 8 years have we heard about GOP loyalists who aren't happy Trump is the nominee but will vote for him because they hate the Dems more? Did we really need yet another article about them? Is this really illuminating anything we don't already know? Is there any useful info here?
