if its that little oval piece, you mayyy be able to find a new part on ebay or something like that, or you could but a "for parts" zune and replace it that way. those are typically easily fixable, like needing a new battery or screen

its a bit tedious, but its still possible to use the zune software and keep using the zune if you wanted. check out r/zune, its got the most up to date information on how to get zunes back up and running as well as mods you can do like wireless charging and battery replacements
