Did another #TenMinuteMerlin at my break spot!! 🪶 It's a beautiful day with sun & big puffy clouds. Caught a variety of birds this time!! I didn't catch sight of the Pipit, that'd have been a first for me. And I finally SAW a Yellowthroat instead of just hearing it!! Also saw a silent wood duck.

The fun thing about the cackling geese is that I always see them hanging out with the Canada geese 😂 "My friends are very large but I like them." A mallard with three little fuzzy babies floated by as I was writing this post 😭 💕 🪶

Spring has arrived when I hear the common yellowthroat at the local wildlife refuge. Getting a picture of them is another matter. You'd think a bright yellow bird would be easy to spot, but nope.
