'Abbey Road was released on this day in 1969.

The Abbey Road album cover. Paul and Ringo have been replaced on the zebra crossing by Madness in nutty train mode (a colour version of the black and white photo used on the cover of their album One Step Beyond).
The Abbey Road album cover, except John is sticking two fingers up to the drivers in the traffic jam they've created which stretches all the way down Abbey Road. If you've ever driven down Abbey Road, you'll recognise this scene as hundreds of tourists take it in turns to bring London traffic to a standstill in the hope their rushed photo looks a wee bit like the album cover. I doubt anyone has ever achieved it.
The Abbey Road album cover, but The Beatles have been replaced by (from left to right) the 4 stages of monkey-to-man evolution.
Man - standing where John is usually stood - is carrying a guitar. No, I don't know what guitar it is, but, when I made this image, it was listed as being one they'd used.
The Abbey Road album cover, but The Beatles have been replaced by (from left to right) 3 nuns and Adam West's Batman, who is carrying a suspiciously long-fused bomb. This image was done in homage to the scene from the 1966 movie where Batman struggles to dispose of said bomb, due to the presence of mothers with babies, nuns, two lovers in a rowboat, a brass band and some ducks.
He was right when he said "Some days, you just can't get rid of a bomb" but don't worry; he eventually did.

This is obviously mainly theatre, as the "signalling" reference tells us. After all, Meloni has no expertise as such, so what could he learn? But her approach empowers human-rights abusing governments, harrasses human-rights defenders and undermines the international refugee framework
