They've started sending these long winded rejection letters that you have to read through 2 or 3 times to make sure you're actually getting rejected. 😩 but yeah this a tough time for applying for work...
I do have employment rn but it's a junior salary. And in a field that feels like a few steps back. I'm feeling a combination of frustration and sadness.
It's so weird the things that will derail one's mood... I got a rejection email today from a job I had applied to back in June. Yesterday I recieved a rejection for a volunteer post at the local indie game festival. I've been finding rejection letters increasingly difficult to just brush off.
I'm not doing a super serious attempt at inktober this year, but I would very much like to use up the 2nd half of my sketchbook. Anyway, did some fast and messy mini drawings. Here's the first!
fucking this.
yup. it doesn't help that all this stuff gets buried under so much jargon in the T's & C's. As well as the intentional graphic design choice that you can't opt out of the data collection without making it seem like the TV is unusable if you don't "accept all".
Yeah, I really wish that these companies would have opt out as a standard and have you opt in by choice, instead of forcing all of it down our throats. And it's not even feasible to "just switch services" either because all the service providers are mindlessly doing the same fucking thing.
