They've started sending these long winded rejection letters that you have to read through 2 or 3 times to make sure you're actually getting rejected. 😩 but yeah this a tough time for applying for work...

yup. it doesn't help that all this stuff gets buried under so much jargon in the T's & C's. As well as the intentional graphic design choice that you can't opt out of the data collection without making it seem like the TV is unusable if you don't "accept all".

Yeah, I really wish that these companies would have opt out as a standard and have you opt in by choice, instead of forcing all of it down our throats. And it's not even feasible to "just switch services" either because all the service providers are mindlessly doing the same fucking thing.

I forget how so many people aren't computer savvy and have blind trust in apps and companies. :( Sometimes the ignorance is willful but there's well-meaning people who also just don't know any better...

Yesterday she told me she'll be homeless soon. She posted a message that is super worrying. I do not know anyone in the city where she lives that I could ask to go check on her. I don't have money to send over (I barely have enough for groceries next week), plus the rand is measly to the euro.

These ones were already feeling a bit old when I got them, so I think their season is over, if not almost over. 🥺 they're still really tasty at least.
