Yeah, I really wish that these companies would have opt out as a standard and have you opt in by choice, instead of forcing all of it down our throats. And it's not even feasible to "just switch services" either because all the service providers are mindlessly doing the same fucking thing.
I forget how so many people aren't computer savvy and have blind trust in apps and companies. :( Sometimes the ignorance is willful but there's well-meaning people who also just don't know any better...

Yesterday she told me she'll be homeless soon. She posted a message that is super worrying. I do not know anyone in the city where she lives that I could ask to go check on her. I don't have money to send over (I barely have enough for groceries next week), plus the rand is measly to the euro.
I am so worried for a friend who I just can't help... She has found herself stranded in another country with no work and her savings pretty much gone. Her neurobiology makes it very difficult for her to find work and I've been noticing a massive decline in her mental health for months.
These ones were already feeling a bit old when I got them, so I think their season is over, if not almost over. 🥺 they're still really tasty at least.
I listened to the single when it came out and was surprised (intially pleasantly). Then started looking into the new singer and found this dumpster fire. I still miss Chester.
From the Oranjezicht market. There's another farmer's market in Newlands that I want to go exploring (Oranjezicht is getting out of control, but I also like to support local growers).
I got a bag of blood oranges! This bag had oranges that definitely lived up to their name, previous bags were very orange blood oranges. I'm not eating them quickly enough, so I'm making freshly squeezed juice (it takes about 3 oranges to fill a 340ml glass). I love how sanguinous the juice looks.
