Finally calibrated my Vertex Color Lit to match Unlit and get the same results as Blender! Now I can texture my entire game without worrying about inconsistent looks across different software. 🌱 #gamedev#IndieGame@charlesboury.bsky.social to inspire me to try this for my Project.

Is it possible to replace the material or do a surface override with one in godot using the alpha transparency from the albedo? That might fix the weird clipping issues at least

I’m glad it’s working out for you!! And omg yes the brush settings are really flexible. My favorite I’ve made so far is a textured smudging brush for a painterly look on some 3D assets

I’ve enjoyed Krita and I think it’s the best I’ve found so far, there are just a lot of keybinds to change to make it more streamlined. I never had much luck with GIMP either
