By the end of 6 and beginning of 7, I owned the whole set and was reading them every night. Mom, wisely, allowed me to stay up an extra hour if I was reading. I'd often sneak an hour an a half if she wasn't paying attention.

I haven't read that series in years, but I'm pretty sure I've read the Little House series like, four or five times over the course of childhood. And I still remember being curled up in Mom's arms while she read it to me.
