This is absolute bullshit. It's an attack on @mmfa.bsky.social's free speech rights by supposed "free speech absolutist" Elon Musk. Any normal judge would have tossed the case, but O'Connor (one of the worst judges in America) has basically been giving Elon everything he wanted.

NEW: After previously ordering Media Matters to turn over donor information to X Corp. in X's lawsuit against MM, today Judge Reed O'Connor denied MM's request to keep that order on hold pending appeal. But, he pushed compliance until the 5th Circuit rules on MM's ask for a stay.

Can anything be done??

Maybe he's just lining up a more lucrative gig with Musk in case gets defrocked for whatever he's doing that he shouldn't be.

I thought this had been transferred to DC district court (as that's where MM is located) but apparently not?

It seems to me that not enough people are considering how Musk is absolutely going to doxx the donors of Media Matters and try to get them killed

I called this shit nearly a year ago. All the more obvious with the courts trying to force MM to hand over the list of donors.

It's actually inconceivable. The judicial mishandling of this case has been off the charts.
